There are many ways you can optimize your website for search engine placement yourself without having to dig into your wallet. Here are a couple of ways you can improve your chances of better placement:

• What category does your business or website fall into? The first thing search engine bots look at are page titles, so make sure each of your page titles are descriptive.
  1. Example: Instead of your homepage title saying "Homepage", use something like "Company Name - 'what your company does' ". Note: The homepage title is the very first thing the a search engine bot sees.
• Make a sitemap of your website. A well made sitemap will greatly increase your chances for better placement on search engines.
• Try not to use text in images, use a table and make a background image with text laying over it. Here is an example
